So E3 is around the corner, and we here at Paper Cloud have been hyped since… well a long time lets leave it at that. So now, here’s my most hyped games I’m expecting at E3. Note that these games may not be shown at the conference, this is all speculation.
Borderlands the Pre-Sequel: Honestly, I've only played 2, and I loved it. Now I want more.
EA Sports UFC: The graphics look astonishing! If the gameplay is fluid with the actual combat, I’d have high hopes for the game.
Kingdom Hearts 3: The name ‘Kingdom Hearts’ let alone brings hype. People have been wanting this a long time, and the fact that Square released the Final Mixes/HD of the older games brings even more hype to the game.
Madden 15: I’m just a football kind of guy. Madden 25 was a disappointment just because of a HUGE bug with online play, which is what I did the most with. It was such a problem with some games it would not even play right. I couldn’t see if I had disc scratches, and i know it wasn’t my console, so the game put me down. If they fix the bugs and fix the Blocking AI, then it’ll be one of the better Madden games over the years.
Mirrors Edge 2: Another long awaited sequel. I’ve never played the original, but seeing videos I saw that the tricky platforming. Plus with the new graphics and processing of the maps, this game should be worth getting on a new system.
Persona 5: For those who know me, they know I’m a huge persona fan. So naturally i’m hyped. Since Atlus has a knack for RPGs, I’m confident this will be another hit.
Persona Q: By the this time, Q would be out in Japan already, but that doesn’t mean the US won’t get a trailer or something.
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire- Being a Pokemon fan since around '98, and playing each generation up until gen 6. I’m extremely excited for this remake. It’s been 11 years since the original Ruby/Sapphire game, which brought my favorite generation to the world. I'm so ecstatic for these games when they release.
Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem: I've never played Fire Emblem, but I’m a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series. The SMT alone gives me hype.
Sunset Overdrive: Other than sounding like a punch from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, this game looks really fun. Having ridiculous tribes plus monsters and ridiculous weapons, reminds me of a mix between Resident Evil and Dead Rising.
Super Smash Bros 4: Mega Man, Hype
Tales From The Borderlands: I really need to play a Telltale game, but the fact that this a Borderlands game gets me hyped. I'm ready to see how the story and gameplay will turn out from the combination of both games.
When all is said and done, we all should be hyped. Note that I’m probably not going to buy many of these games, due to not having the system and money issues. Nonetheless, I’m still hyped to see them.
